General terms and conditions of SCHUBER OG

Prices:
All prices are per person for food and per unit for drinks (bottle, glass, etc.) including VAT and service and are payable to Schuber OG without deductions unless otherwise agreed in writing.


Reservation:
Reservations must be made in writing (letter or email) and with a legally binding signature. Changes to the banquet agreement must be made in writing. By signing, our general terms and conditions are accepted. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the number of guests must be fixed bindingly and in writing by the customer no later than 7 days before the event. This number is considered the guaranteed minimum number that will be charged in any case! If there is an upward change in the number of guests, Schuber OG will try to the best of its knowledge and belief to cover the corresponding additional requirements - if the customer announces this less than five days before the event. Any resulting additional costs will be borne by the customer.


Offer of goods:
Our extensive range is always subject to seasonal changes. If individual items are temporarily not available, we reserve the right to exchange them for goods of at least equivalent value.

 

Billing:
Ordered menus and buffets will be charged according to the quantity ordered. Billing takes place according to the number of people stated up to five days before the start of the event.


Payment terms:
As is customary in the industry, the invoice must be paid without deductions within 10 days of the invoice date. If you fail to comply, you will be charged default interest of 7% p.a. charged. The client is not entitled to withhold payments due to incomplete performance or complaints. The client may only offset undisputed or legally established claims. Payments made are always used to offset the oldest claims. A new order will only be accepted once any outstanding debts have been paid in full. Cancellation:
If you cancel the event for unforeseen reasons, we ask you to inform us in writing at least 30 days before the start of the event. In this case there are no cancellation costs. For cancellations up to 21 days before the start of the event, we charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked services, except for supporting programs, which must be charged at 100%. If you cancel up to 7 days before the event, we will charge an 80% cancellation fee.
For cancellations between 6 days before the start of the event and the day of the event, you will be charged 100% of the booked services. CANCELLATIONS CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED IN WRITTEN FORM!


Liability:
Items brought along, especially decorative materials, must meet fire safety requirements and assembly must be agreed upon with the event manager or senior employee. The organizer is liable for any damage caused during assembly or disassembly, including companies and private individuals commissioned by the organizer. The organizer is liable for any damage to the SCHUBER OG property.


Complaint:
Complaints must be reported verbally to the event manager immediately. If the client does not comply with his obligation to notify and the defects cannot be remedied in a timely manner during or by the end of the event due to the client's behavior, no claims for damages from the client can be derived from the identified defects.


Non-fulfillment:
Strikes, fires and serious circumstances outside Schuber OG that prevent performance, in particular cases of force majeure, entitle Schuber to terminate the agreement in any form without being liable for damages.
